It was fantastic to bring our Midlands teams together for an inspiring and productive meeting, with lots of exciting discussions, ideas and plans for the next quarter. 💚

We have an amazing team across our Midlands homes, all sharing the same passion and commitment to delivering the very best for our residents, their families and our communities.

🚔🥪A little thank you from our residents…

Today, we delivered some bacon butties to our local police officers — but this wasn’t just any visit… it was our residents’ idea! 💚

Our residents wanted to do something to show their appreciation for the people who work so hard to keep our local community safe, so we thought a bacon butty was a pretty good place to start.

It was lovely to see the smiles, have a little chat and, hopefully, make their day just a little bit brighter.

At Bowesbury, we love finding ways for our residents to stay connected with and give back to the community around us. 💚

Because sometimes, the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.

💚A little thank you goes a long way💚

Yesterday, Gemma, the CRM from our sister home, Dovebourne, and I headed out to meet the teams at Burton and Royal Derby Hospitals.

We delivered some little hampers and goody bags as a small way of saying thank you to the incredible people working so hard to care for and support our local community. 🏥☕️🍫

It was lovely to spend a little time chatting with the teams, spreading some smiles and letting them know that their hard work really is appreciated.

At Bowesbury, building strong relationships within our local community is so important to us — and we’re looking forward to doing much more of it. 💚

Thank you to everyone who took the time to say hello yesterday. We hope you enjoyed your treats! 🥰

Our residents enjoyed getting creative today - and there was some serious concentration going on 🖍️
Sometimes it’s the simplest things that create the loveliest moments: sitting together, chatting, choosing colours and enjoying a bit of creative time.

What a fantastic Saturday at our Bowesbury Summer Fayre despite the weather!💚
A massive thank you to everyone who came along, supported us, joined in the fun and helped make the day so special.
Whether you enjoyed the food, browsed the stalls or simply stopped by for a chat - we really appreciate you being there!
We`d also like to say a huge thank you to all our stallholders, volunteers, staff, families and everyone who helped make the fayre possible. We couldn`t have done it without you! 👏
And, of course, the best part...💚 We`re delighted to have raised over £100 for our chosen charity 🎉The grand total will be shared with you very soon.

Last week we set a challenge for our residents.

Our staff bought in pictures of themselves as babies/children and we asked our residents if they could guess which picture, was which member of staff.

It was quite hard, even the staff struggled with some.

Our residents, being amazing as they are, had a go and we have a winner!

Well done Chris for getting the most correct answers!
