🐮🌈 A MORNING FULL OF PLAY, LEARNING & ADVENTURE!🌈🐮

Yesterday we had the most wonderful morning at Little Moo’s Play Barn and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! 🥰

It was the perfect place for my little adventurers, with so many opportunities covering all areas of the EYFS. 💕 From physical development and communication & language to personal, social and emotional development, understanding the world, expressive arts and maths and literacy, there was something for everyone! ✨

My little mindees absolutely LOVED it! 🥹 They explored, climbed, investigated, experimented, played alongside one another and accessed every single activity available. Watching them learn through their own interests and having the freedom to explore was just amazing. 🧸🛝🎨🎶

And because we loved it so much, I’ve gone one step further and have now secured a block booking for the whole of next term,including their fabulous
Music & Movement classes (mixed moo) and Stay & Play sessions!🎶💃🕺

I feel so lucky that through Coco’s Adventures I can give my little mindees these experiences, opportunities and memories outside of our usual setting. ❤️

It’s not just about having fun, it’s about learning through play, building confidence, developing independence, forming relationships and creating those magical early years experiences.🌟

✨ A VERY PROUD COCO MOMENT!✨

I honestly couldn’t be any prouder seeing my own daughter featuring in the NEW COLLECTION at TTS!🥹💗

As a childminder, I absolutely LOVE TTS and their equipment and resources. Their products are such amazing quality, built to last and made with little ones in mind, they are a huge part of the resources I love using here at Coco’s Adventures Childminding. 🌈🧸✨

So to now see my beautiful girl modelling for their brand is just the most amazing feeling! 🥰 Seeing her little face on their website and in their new collection has made this mama (and childminder!) incredibly proud. ❤️

Life lately at Coco's Adventures Childminding...

What a wonderful few weeks we've had, filled with adventures, laughter, learning and so many special memories.

We've explored the beautiful grounds of Calke Abbey, enjoyed a little family camping holiday in Dorset. We have spent lots of time doing rhyme time, music and sensory play sessions. We've made the most of the lovely summer sunshine with chalking, water play and plenty of outdoor fun in the garden, as well as visiting lots of our favourite local parks.

Our shiny new red mini bus has taken us on some fantastic adventures already, and the children absolutely love travelling together and seeing where our next adventure will take us.

One of the biggest highlights was attending the Emergency Services Day. The children had the chance to explore inside an ambulance and police cars, and our older children even learnt about paediatric CPR. Watching them become so involved and eager to learn something so important was such a proud moment for me. I truly believe that, when children are able to understand, teaching them these life skills is incredibly valuable.

We've also enjoyed a trip to Moorways Fun Day, visited Freddy's Play Kingdom and Little Moo's Play Barn, and had so many opportunities to learn through play, exploration and new experiences.

Our seeds that we planted together are growing beautifully, and the children take such pride in helping me water them and watching them change each week. It's been lovely to see their patience, care and excitement as they nurture something they've planted themselves.

And this week brings another very special milestone... we're celebrating our final pre-walker becoming a walker! That means every one of my little mindees at Coco's Adventures is now officially walking. I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you and all the progress you've made.

These are the moments that make childminding so special. Being able to watch the children grow, learn, gain confidence and experience so many wonderful opportunities is something I feel incredibly lucky to be part of.

Keep learning, keep exploring and keep shining, my little adventurers. I can't wait to make even more memories with you all and see where our next adventures take us.

☀️🌈 Summer adventures are in full swing at Coco's Adventures Childminding! 🌈☀️

What an incredible start we've had to the six-week summer holidays! Every day has been filled with smiles, laughter, exploration and so many wonderful learning opportunities.

So far we've enjoyed a fantastic summer party, visited playgroups and stay & play sessions, explored our local parks and shops, and had some amazing days out to Staunton Harold, Derby Market Hall, the Museum of Making, and Derby Cathedral.

Every adventure gives the children the chance to learn something new, building confidence, developing friendships, growing their communication skills, encouraging curiosity and creating memories that will last a lifetime. There's no better classroom than the world around us.

Tomorrow we're off on another exciting adventure, and I can't wait to see where our little explorers take their learning next!

A little reminder to all families who have booked childcare with Coco’s Adventures Childminding for the summer holidays 💛

Invoices for your booked summer holiday sessions are due to be paid by 28th July 2026 to secure and keep your child’s space.

Please be aware that if payment is not received by the due date, your space may be cancelled and offered to a family on my waiting list.

I have lots of families waiting for availability, so unfortunately I cannot hold unpaid spaces.

Sometimes, it really is the simple things in life that bring the biggest smiles 🥹💛

Last week at playgroup, the children were absolutely bursting with happiness and excitement. Watching them explore, play, laugh and enjoy themselves reminded me that we really don’t always need to do something big or complicated for our little people to learn.

The learning opportunities happening naturally through play were incredible. From socialising and making friends, to communication, sharing, turn-taking, problem-solving, imagination and building confidence… so many doors were opened simply by giving them the opportunity to play and explore together 🌟

It honestly brought me back down to earth and reminded me just how amazing the simple things can be.

Sometimes, all they need is a safe space, the freedom to play and the chance to learn through their own experiences 💛

And seeing them this happy to be at playgroup was absolutely amazing 🥰✨
