Both the residents and staff at Abbey Court are participating in a sweepstake for the World Cup. We each drew a country out of the hat and will be tracking their progress on our World Cup board. We're excited to watch these games unfold

Last week we had a special delivery of ten tiny caterpillars to take care of. This week some of those not-so-tiny caterpillars have started to form their chrysalises. This week is International Men's Health Week, an annual campaign that aims to address preventable healthcare problems for men and boys. Addressing gender gaps in life expectancy, health screening, men's mental health and more, the awareness event tackles the stigma that still exists surrounding these conversations for many men. Discussion, early support and treatment can make all of the difference - as can those important conversations about fitness and wellbeing. Please do seek advice, and encourage your loved ones to do the same

Our lovely, and very hard working management accountant Dot is taking on the Spire to Shire Ultra Run this Saturday in aid of four amazing charities. 💚✨ ANGELS 2026 – OUR CHALLENGE IS SET ✨💚

On Saturday 20th June 2026, Overseal Running Club will once again lace up our shoes and take on our biggest community challenge of the year.

This year’s Angels event will see our runners cover distances from 5K right up to 42 miles, cascading along the route and finishing together at The Robin Hood Pub — united, proud, and running with purpose.

But Angels has never just been about the miles.

It’s about who we run for.

In 2026 we are raising funds for four incredible causes:
