Provide High Quality Worksmanship - From specialist brickwork to feature stonework to imported blockwork systems, our on-site performance is guaranteed through the employment of skilled, trade qualified and closely appraised workforce with hundreds of years experience reinforced by our dedication to continual training. Ensure Client Financial Satisfaction - Our pro-active approach pre-contract allows both parties to realise financial implications/savings aiding the commercial teams forecasts throughout the duration of the works and laying footings for a trouble free final account. We take great pride in all aspects of delivering our projects inline with the three objectives and this ethos is instilled in all employees and supply chain members who make up the Phoenix Brickwork (UK) Ltd team.

Our Brickwork Phoenix Award for July goes to Mihai, who has been recognised for his positive, can-do attitude and consistently high standard of workmanship. Currently working on the Gartree Prison project, Mihai continues to demonstrate quality and professionalism in everything he does.

Drywall – Duain
Duain, but known as Billy on site, has been recognised for his continued commitment, hard work and dedication to Phoenix over the past four years. Always giving 100%, Billy is willing to support wherever needed, including helping the Brickwork department.

Trusted to keep operatives supplied with materials and ensure sites remain clean and safe; Billy is a valued and dependable member of the team. His support across projects makes him a true asset to the business.

Well done, Billy – a thoroughly deserved award!

Scaffolding – Adam
Adam has been recognised for his dependability, hard work and willingness to go the extra mile, alongside his brothers Corey and Callum. Together, they are a fantastic asset to the Phoenix team.

Adam always makes safety a priority while continuing to work to tight programmes, demonstrating a strong commitment to both quality and getting the job done.

At Phoenix, we believe that looking after our people means looking after the whole person.

On site, we place a huge emphasis on physical health and safety — identifying hazards, managing risks and making sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.

But mental health and safety are just as important.

Whether it’s checking in with a colleague or taking the time to listen— looking out for each other is something we can all do.

A huge congratulations to Ellie Clements on achieving an important milestone in her career as a Quantity Surveyor.

On the Holy Trinity School project, Ellie successfully took ownership of several key commercial responsibilities from start to finish. She completed the full material take-off, ensuring the quantities were accurately assessed, and the required materials were identified and ordered.

She also played an important role in negotiating the labour price, demonstrating confidence in dealing with costs and contractors and beginning to develop the commercial skills that are so important within quantity surveying.

To complete the process, Ellie prepared and produced the final account for the project, bringing together the costs and commercial information and demonstrating her ability to see a project through from initial take-off and procurement all the way through to final account.

This is a fantastic first achievement and a great example of the progress she is making through her apprenticeship as a Quantity Surveyor. It shows not only her technical ability, but also her willingness to take responsibility, learn, negotiate and deliver.

Well done, Ellie — a fantastic achievement and hopefully the first of many!

The Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL) initiative plays an important role in supporting rehabilitation and helping individuals prepare for life beyond custody.

By providing opportunities to work in the community, ROTL enables individuals to develop practical skills, build confidence, gain valuable employment experience and take positive steps towards sustainable employment and successful resettlement.

For employers and communities, it’s also an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to social value — supporting people to build a more positive future while helping to strengthen communities and reduce the barriers to employment.

We’re proud to recognise the dedication of our ROTL operatives and the contributions they make to our team. Their work is a great example of how providing the right opportunities can create positive outcomes for individuals, businesses and society.

Myles will be working alongside our experienced bricklayers, learning the trade and building his skills on site.

We’re pleased to announce the successful completion of our works at Wellingborough School, delivered for our valued client Bowmer and Kirkland.

The project included:
• Extensive masonry support, including hanging soffit works
• Stack bond soldier feature panels
• High-quality detailing and finishes throughout

We’re delighted that both Bowmer and Kirkland and their client, Wellingborough School, are very pleased with the finished result.

The project was completed 100% snag free – a fantastic achievement by everyone involved.

A great result – we’d like to thank Bowmer and Kirkland for trusting us with this project.
