Our funeral arranger Angela has been at the National Funeral Exhibition for the past two days, finding out about what is newly available in our industry and different ways in which we can help the families we serve. Some of the products and services that caught our eye were:

This was for a gentleman we got to know who always stopped by for a chat in town, and it was our honour to conduct his funeral. This week is Dying Matters Awareness week, encouraging those in the community to talk about death and our bereavements. Whilst its something that impacts us all at some point, it is difficult for many of us to discuss with family and friends, and many more struggle to open up about our own grief. This can be about a past or recent bereavement, feelings towards our mortality or discussing funeral arrangements. Opening a conversation with our loved ones can ease the stigma, and release bottled up emotions so we can support and relate to each other 🎩
