23 years sober today. Its had its ups and downs and I am grateful for everything i have. Thank you to everyone that has supported me along the way.

I am reminded everyday how difficult and cruel addiction can be. It takes grit, determination and focus to beat it. Its not easy but its worth it.

22 years ago today i made a decision something needed to change. I entered rehab and spent 4 weeks in White Oaks Centre. It had been a difficult road but something needed to change. I was afraid but i needed to do it. From that day on my life changed. It wasnt easy and i have had my ups and downs. Life definately throws curve balls but the difference today is i can cope. I dont have to escape or drown myself with Alcohol. For anyone struggling today, ask for help. Tell someone your struggling. There is people that are willing to help but you need to tell them you need it. There is always hope. You have the potential to have a life you never thought possible. You deserve it.
