"Will I bruise?"
This is one of the questions I'm asked most often, and the honest answer is... there is always a possibility.
Your safety is my priority, and I use safe, evidence-based techniques, advanced facial anatomy knowledge, careful injection placement, and high-quality products to help minimise the risk of bruising as much as possible.
That said, the face contains a complex network of veins and arteries. Any time a needle or cannula enters the skin, there is a chance that a small blood vessel may be affected, which can result in bruising.
Some clients experience little to no bruising, while others may bruise more easily due to factors such as: ✨ Individual anatomy
✨ Thin or delicate skin
✨ Age
✨ Medications or supplements (such as blood thinners, fish oil or vitamin E)
✨ Lifestyle factors, including alcohol and exercise
✨ Genetics
Bruising is not usually a sign that anything has gone wrong. In most cases, it is simply a normal part of your body's natural healing process and will settle over the following days.
Every face is unique, and every treatment is different, which means no practitioner can guarantee that bruising won't occur.
What I can promise is that I will always put your safety first, take every precaution to minimise the risk, and provide honest advice while helping you achieve beautiful, natural-looking results. 💗
