The sons, daughters and wider family circle of the late Sally Doherty wish to express their heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to all of those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to all our neighbours, friends, and family for all their help and kindness; to those who called to the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, attended the funeral Mass and those who travelled long distances to be with us.
A special word of thanks to all those who brought food during the wake especially Doherty’s Bakery, Mc Daid’s Bakery, Charlie Casey and Terry White.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Mc Faul for the words of comfort and the gentle and prayerful Requiem Mass. Thank you to Erin Carlin and Isobel Caldwell for the beautiful singing and music which added such depth and meaning to the Mass.
Our deepest appreciation to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors, especially Kieran, for their professional and dignified manner in carrying out the Funeral arrangements and the genuine compassion shown to us as a family during this sad time.
We would also like to thank Derry and Strabane Carers, District Nurses from Foyleside Practice and The Foyle Hospice for the dignity, care and compassion they provided to our beloved mother in the last few weeks of her life.
A special word of thanks to Kevin for arranging the most beautiful and fitting floral arrangement to take our mother on her journey home.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgment would be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Sally's Month's Mind Mass will be held on Tuesday, 4th August 2026, at 7:30 pm in St Mary's Chapel, Creggan.
