This week, we're focusing on repeat prescriptions and how you can request your medication quickly and securely without needing to telephone the practice.

Do you know the 4 Ts of type 1 diabetes?
Type 1 diabetes is a condition where your body cannot make a hormone called insulin. This causes your blood sugar to get too high, and needs to be managed every day.
The most common symptoms are the 4 Ts:
Toilet
Thirsty
Tired
Thinner
If you think you or your child has any of these symptoms, ask for an urgent GP appointment or call 111.

🌞 Although temperatures are lower than they have been recently, don't forget to wear sunscreen this weekend!

Even on cooler or cloudy days, UV rays can still cause sunburn and skin damage.

Protect yourself by:
🧴 Applying sunscreen with a high SPF
🕶️ Wearing sunglasses and a hat
🌳 Seeking shade during the hottest part of the day
💧 Staying hydrated

Taking these simple steps can help prevent sunburn and reduce your risk of developing skin cancer.

Enjoy the weekend and stay sun safe!
Visit the NHS website for more info on sun safety ➡️ https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/seasonal-health/sunscreen-and-sun-safety/

If you're living with secondary breast cancer, or any other health condition, we acknowledge the immense mental weight that comes with it. The physical battle is only half the story.
It's Men's Health Awareness Week, and today we're encouraging our male audience to think about putting time aside to regularly check your own breast area. (Our infographic will help).
And if you're worried about your health, we strongly encourage you to reach out and talk to those around you.
Here are organisations ready to listen:
⭐ Andy's Man Club: Talk about how you're feeling in a free peer-to-peer support group
andysmanclub.co.uk
⭐ Local Mind: Access information and support from your local mental health charity mind.org.uk/information-support/local-minds
⭐Samaritans: Contact them anonymously, 24/7, by calling 116 123
⭐ Men's VMU: Monthly virtual meet up for men living with cancer
