We thought we'd start the week off with a Monday morning Pamper Session. Some of the ladies enjoyed a hand massage. We had lots of fun looking through our hair accessories as well as picking out colours to have our nails painted.

Yesterday we celebrated our Avebury House Award winners. We had a lovely lunch alongside some of our residents and their families. Followed by an afternoon of presenting awards to Carers, nurses, hospitality, Ancillary workers and Leader of the year. A lovely afternoon enjoyed and celebrated by everyone. Congratulations to all of the winners 🏆🥳..

Special well done to our carer of the year who also managed to capture some nice pictures and make a lovely video!

A fun week at Avebury, we had a disco party with some lovely music, we sang along and even added our own sounds with some instruments! We also had some quieter times doing puzzles and playing dominoes. We also made butterfly cakes for the disco. It's also been nice to get out walking along the canal in the cooler weather .

We all want to say a massive well done to Wiggle for completing his Level 3 in Leadership for Adult Care and not only passing, but achieving a Distinction! 🎉👏

So we decided on some 70's music for our exercise class this morning 😀.. It's our first one in a few weeks as it's been so hot. We all laughed our way through it and had some fun. This afternoon some of us made a lemon drizzle cake 😋

Fun and pampering for the ladies this morning! Followed by our Thursday Gardening Club. Some of our lovely residents helped and supervised the assembly of our new greenhouse.. Next job - fill the greenhouse with seeds, pots and plants 🪴
