🦋 Supporting a Special Day of Remembrance 🦋

Today, Fiona, and Lorna were honoured to volunteer at the Anam Cara Fasgadh Memorial Butterfly Release Event in Inverness.

It was a truly beautiful and moving event, bringing families together to remember and celebrate the lives of their loved ones. Watching the butterflies take flight was a touching symbol of love, remembrance and hope.

We are grateful to have been able to play a small part in such a special day and would like to thank everyone involved for making it such a meaningful occasion.

We are delighted to be working alongside another local florist and are proud to support local businesses within our community. Meet Our New Business Manager Kevin Robertson

We are delighted to welcome Kevin Robertson to the team as our new Business Manager and look forward to working alongside him as he settles into his new role.

Kevin brings with him 14 years of experience within the funeral profession, having joined Dignity as a Funeral Director at Gordon & Watson in Aberdeen.

Looking for something to do this summer? Why not come along and support Dingwall Gala Week 2026, taking place from Saturday 27th June to Saturday 4th July!

There is a fantastic programme of events planned throughout the week, with something for all ages to enjoy. From the crowning of the Royal Party, football tournaments, pet show, treasure hunts, quiz night, gala fling, bingo, fun day and the grand finale with the floats and gala dance, it promises to be a great week for our community.

A huge amount of hard work goes on behind the scenes to organise events like these, so let’s get out and support the volunteers and local groups who make it all happen.

Today, Jim and Fiona had the pleasure of visiting Fairburn House to deliver a talk to some of the nurses and care staff on the care of the deceased and what happens when a loved one comes into our care.

We always value the opportunity to share our knowledge and help provide reassurance around the processes involved following a death. These conversations can be incredibly important in supporting those who care for others every day.

We hope everyone who attended found the session informative and helpful, and we would like to thank the team at Fairburn House for their warm welcome and engagement.
