Just over a week to go until the pelvic floor workshop at the beautiful Wellness at Wyken event.
This workshop blends education and movement to help you better understand and reconnect with your pelvic floor.
We’ll start by exploring what the pelvic floor does, what can happen when it isn’t working as well as it should, and how it connects with the rest of your body.

We’ll also talk honestly about common symptoms such as leaking, heaviness, prolapse, bowel changes and painful intimacy, the things many people experience but don’t always know how to ask about.

From there, we’ll move into a gentle Pilates flow combining strengthening and stretching to help you reconnect through movement, not just theory.

There will also be an optional Q&A at the end for anyone with questions they’ve never quite found the right moment to ask.

There’s the last few spaces left and so if you have been interested then I would love you to join! Education is power !

A little summer update! ☀️🌻

Although there are no Pilates classes next week, after that I’m back as normal throughout August (apart from one very special week… 🌻).

I’ve got lots of lovely things coming up over the summer, including:

🌻 Pilates in the Sunflowers at Banham Blooms - 17th and 18th August

🩷Pelvic Floor Workshop at Wyken Vineyard - Sunday 2nd August

💪 Wellness at Wyken pop-up Pilates classes

All these events are open to everyone, so if you’ve been thinking of bringing a friend or trying Pilates for the first time, these are the perfect opportunities.

It’s been a while since I have done an event. But I couldn’t resist making the most of the beautiful sunshine!!

An impromptu event this Friday, energising Pilates flow followed by a refreshing swim and French styled Apero.

Really great article about the benefits of getting more active to protect joints!

You have probably heard the phrase wear and tear but actually we know that getting stronger can protect our joints not wear them out!

“Osteoarthritis – the most common type of arthritis, which occurs when the protective cartilage around the bones breaks down – is no longer referred to as ‘wear and tear’, she adds, “because joints are better if you use them. Stay active and build up your muscles.” Through this you can “keep them strong and it can reduce the pain to keep them moving”.
