We would like to extend a big thank you to the team at Pass Logistics at their Lakeside office today for inviting us along to talk about dementia and the support available across Doncaster.
At Home Instead, we are passionate about supporting people living with dementia and their families, while also working closely with organisations and partners across our local community to help improve access to care, information and support.
Dave Green, our Community Engagement Manager, who is also Chair of the Doncaster Dementia Collaborative, shared information about the impact dementia can have on individuals, families and carers. He also spoke about how people can access support and highlighted some of the positive work taking place across the city.
This includes the new Dementia Strategy being published this year, which has been created through co-production with people who have lived experience of dementia. Their voices and experiences are helping to shape the actions being taken to improve dementia support across Doncaster and make our communities more understanding, inclusive and supportive.
We are always grateful for opportunities like this to connect with local businesses and organisations, raise awareness and help make a positive difference for people affected by dementia.
