For people with dementia, having pain they cannot explain can show as aggression and confusion ☹️🩷

Caring for someone living with dementia means looking after all the little things that make a big difference. One important part of daily care that can sometimes be overlooked is brushing teeth and cleaning dentures.

Look out for sore gums, mouth discomfort, or changes in eating habits. Good oral hygiene helps keep mouths healthy and reduces discomfort.

We know caring for a loved one can be challenging, and there is so much to remember. Please be kind to yourself, too ❤️

Our clients love when the mobile zoo comes to visit, it gives them chance to interact with the animals; sparking conversations and bringing back fond memories of their own pets! 🩵

We had a lovely visit today from Sally Jameson, our local Labour MP.
Sally spent the afternoon learning all about Inspire's Day Centre and befriending service, mixing with clients & meeting the team!

We told Sally all about our plans for the future, the movement and growth of Inspire. We can't wait to take you all on this journey with us 🩷

When talking about her Befrienders, one of our lovely clients said:
They're great. They help me with things like laundry, shopping, going swimming and cycling, getting to medical appointments and vet visits for my cats. I've even been to a few shows and a wedding with their support 🩷

We are so proud to be actively making a difference in our community, helping as many people as we possibly can.
