Crafting has always been my go too distresser . Thinking about nothing else just being in a state of flow. That and being out nature are well renowned for being therapeutic wellness activities .

Autumn is my favorite season so combining the 3 today as a trial prior to our Wellness Workshop on Wednesday in collaboration with Conisbrough Group Practice and funded by The National Lottery has been just what I needed.

Still a work in progress . Using air dryed clay can’t be rushed but so far so good . The finished article will be an autumnal tealight holder 🍁🕯️

Everyone grieves differently. In the case of this poem about sibling loss of the same parent each grieve in their own way . The way we grieve is as individual as the relationship we had for that person .

Grief shouldn’t be compared or judged more over it should be acknowledging , accepted and supported .

Communal Grief.

Last night I did this for Dawn in my sparkly boots 🥾. Dawn was always know for her many Doc martins . 💔

She attended these awards with me last year. It was a very difficult personal decision to make to attend but I was well supported by Sarah Well Doncaster, Club Doncaster Foundation, our grief support group , family and friends and I’m grateful to them all.

There has been an outpouring of grief not only in our Found My Niche Family but in the community as a whole(of which she was so passionate and supportive) following a missing persons announcement by SYP on Thursday morning and later that afternoon that sadly she had been found.

Dawn was a dear friend and my wingwoman at our CIC our thoughts are with all her family and friends at this difficult time. Out of respect for Dawn and the family no details will be shared and we ask that that no one speculates around the circumstances of her death.

On Wednesday evening we will be inviting anyone in the community that knew Dawn to join us at 5:30 at Castle Close Community Centre in Tickhill for a cuppa and to share their memories of Dawn with us .

It’s been a busy week already with our Physic event on Sunday, Walk n Talk yesterday and Today sees the last of our Around Tuit sessions in the South of at Harrogate Court Extra Care by Valley Care in Denaby Main .

The sessions look at the gaps in knowledge around the admin involved after Lossing a loved one .
Also Helping you plan your affairs for your loved ones . It’s never to early to make a start on this . Get Around Tuit!

It’s not to late to join us as we can recap on all the previous 3 sessions and provide you with the material we have given out so far.
We are there from 10~12 all welcome 🤗

On behalf of Found my Niche CIC I’d like to thank Madame Csaszar aka Joanne for offering her service yesterday at our first Fundraising Psychic evening. We raised a fantastic £285.61 in donations 🤗
