💙 An Update to Our SEN Sessions

We’ve listened carefully to the feedback we’ve received and have taken advice on how we can make our SEN Sessions a better, more comfortable and more inclusive experience for the children and families attending.

Firstly, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Beth and Phab Doncaster for giving us their time, expertise and guidance in helping us shape these sessions.

Our first updated SEN Session will take place on Tuesday 11th August, from 10.30am – 12 noon.

During this time, the entire Summer Beach Club will be exclusively for SEN guests, allowing us to create a calmer and more relaxed environment across the whole event.

💙 Quieter music throughout the venue
🎡 Slower rides, where operationally possible
✨ Lower lighting where possible
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Capacity capped at just 60 guests (Including adults and children)
🎟️ A dedicated SEN Session available to book online in advance

The session is £5.50 for children and free for parents, carers/ guardians, this includes access to the Beach Retreat as well as a dedicated AquaSplash session. Tokens for the rides can be purchased on the day.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to share their feedback with us. Our aim has always been to create an inclusive event where every child and their family can feel safe, comfortable and able to enjoy their time with us.

Thanks to the incredible support of our generous funders, we’re delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for a paid Freelance Session Lead.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our amazing team and help make a real difference to the lives of adults with complex disabilities, physical disabilities and PMLD.

The role will involve planning and delivering fun, inclusive workshops, activities, community trips and adventures while helping our service continue to grow.
