Staff from Rose Hill Crematoriam, Doncaster Council, donated £17,000 to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Nostell Air Support Unit through the ICCM Metals Recycling Scheme. Here's a photo of Natalie, Paul and Jane presenting a cheque during a tour of the Nostell airbase.

YAA was nominated as the beneficiary charity following its involvement in an incident involving a staff member's family a few years ago.

This unique scheme ensures sustainability, supports important causes, and provides crematoriums with a meaningful way to give back.

Thanks to the collective efforts of participating crematoriums, by 2024 over £23 million had been raised through the scheme in partnership with Orthometals | innovating crecycling. This money, donated to UK charities makes a real difference.

Last week we welcomed staff from Doncaster Bereavement Services to our Nostell airbase following their kind donation of £17,000!

The donation was made from their metal recycling scheme run through their bereavement services at Rose Hill Crematorium. YAA was nominated as the beneficiary charity following our involvement in an incident involving a staff member's family a few years ago.

We are extremely grateful for their support and are looking forward to working together again in the future. 🚁

If you wish to keep your wreaths please ensure these are removed from the cemeteries by Sunday 4th February as once we remove them, they are not retrievable.

AlhamduLillah, We are blessed to announce the funeral service for the Doncaster Muslim community.

In times of hardship, we offer our free of cost service to families in need, relying solely on donations to ensure no financial burden on the grieving families. Our service includes transportation from the hospital to the mosque and graveyard, along with providing the coffin.

This service alleviates additional financial burdens for grieving families, complementing our graveyard project where we constructed 97 graves, further reducing costs associated with funerals.

Families are only responsible for acquiring land and leasing at the burial ground through bereavement services.
