Now we've heard everything...

A Taylor Swift fan recently made headlines after reportedly trying to sell a pair of used contact lenses online for a staggering $10,000.

Why? Because they had apparently "seen" Taylor Swift live on the Eras Tour. 🎤✨

Now, we understand that concert tickets can be expensive and memorabilia can be valuable... but we're fairly confident this isn't what your optician means by an investment in your eye care. 😆

Joking aside, contact lenses are medical devices and should never be shared, bought second-hand or worn by anyone other than the person they were prescribed for.

We'll leave the celebrity memorabilia to the collectors... and stick to helping people see clearly instead! 👓

A huge thank you to everyone who's commented on our new window display. We're delighted so many of you spotted Amber and the guinea pigs, who we felt had earned a little time in the spotlight!

Amber certainly seemed to enjoy all the attention too. 🐾

And for those who got excited and wondered whether she was for sale... sorry to disappoint! 😆 We're still sticking to selling optical things rather than puppies.
