Happy Hump Day! 🎉 Halfway through the working week and looking for that extra bit of mid-week motivation? We’ve got just the thing to get you over the hill and moving!

Slots are officially open for Project 250: The Grand Accumulator at our RDaSH NHS Community Fun Day on Saturday, 18th July! We are looking for staff, families, and community champions to smash a quick 15-minute slot to help us raise vital funds for a brand-new Hydrotherapy Pool at the Diamond Activity Centre.

Whether you want to pedal, row, or lift, every single meter counts toward our massive collective target!

🤔 Can’t decide which station to try?
Why choose? You are more than welcome to tackle multiple stations! Grab a 15-minute slot on the exercise bike, smash another on the rowing machine, or smash out some reps on the weights. Just make sure your times don't overlap so you have a few minutes to catch your breath between stations! 🚴‍♂️🚣‍♂️🏋️

Our brilliant fitness partners at BizFit360 will be on-site to cheer you on, keep the music pumping, and make sure everyone stays safe and has fun.

Don't worry if you can't join us in person on the 18th—you won't miss out! The live event officially launches our brand-new Project 250 Virtual Accumulator Challenge, which will run for two full months until Friday, 18th September.

You can log your miles from anywhere as we work collectively to move a virtual community pin across 3 cities (Doncaster, Rotherham, and Scunthorpe) connecting 3 key RDaSH service hubs: Tickhill Road Hospital, Swallownest, and The Elizabeth Quarter. As part of Learning Disability Awareness Week (15–21 June), members of the Doncaster Community Learning Disability Team and the Acute Learning Disability Liaison Service will be hosting an information stall at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Visitors will be able to learn more about the support available for people with learning disabilities, including Health Passports, reasonable adjustments and services designed to help make healthcare more accessible and inclusive.

Whether you are a patient, carer, family member or simply want to find out more, the team will be on hand to answer questions, share information and offer advice about accessing healthcare and support services.

Date and time: Friday 19 June, 11am-2pm
Location: Outside the canteen, Doncaster Royal Infirmary
