We couldn’t be prouder of Grace for completing her diploma in Funeral Arranging, and so pleased that she has taken on the masonry for both ourselves and our sister company Stoneman Funeral Service 🥰

Congratulations to Grace on passing her Funeral Arranging and Administration Certificate!

Grace joined our team in April 2020, and immediately rose to the challenges presented by the pandemic. She is meticulously organised in her approach, and cares deeply for the families she looks after. We are privileged to work with her, and extremely proud of all she has achieved over the past six years.

Well done Grace!

Delighted to be continuing our longstanding relationship with family run Wilcox Limousines. Thank you to company directors Chris & Will Stoneman for making the journey to bring our limousine to its new home in Dorking.

Another handover here at our Hindley factory ✅

Sherlock Funeral Service took delivery of this stunning 2013 Jaguar Limousine which was ready to go within 1 day of the enquiry. Thank you to Chris & Will for visiting the factory we hope to see you again soon.

Our Christmas Carol Service will be taking place on Thursday 11th December, led by the wonderful Paul Fahey.

All are welcome to join us for a peaceful and uplifting evening, remembering those we have lost, supporting one another as a local community, and spreading some festive cheer ✨

Part of our shared family history. Sherlock’s and Stoneman’s together represent nearly 300 years of funeral service - generations of knowledge and care shared between the two companies.

We choose our suppliers carefully, and Somerset Willow Coffins is one of our favourites.
Like us, they’re an independent, family-run business, now in their fourth generation. Their coffins are beautifully handwoven in Somerset using traditional skills honed over 60 years. The care and craftsmanship that goes into each one is incredible.
What we particularly value is the level of personalisation available. Each coffin is made to order and can be tailored in many ways: there are 15 hand-dyed colour options, different weave patterns, and various handle styles to choose from.
The coffins are made from sustainable willow, handcrafted in England, and fully biodegradable, which makes them perfect for natural burials.

provide a beautiful, natural way to remember loved ones.

They combines ashes with their own mixture of UK native wildflower seeds & other natural ingredients to create bespoke seed balls.

They have a wide range of options, and the flower mixes can be chosen by colour and soil type. A lot of the options are perennial, so flowers will continue to bloom from the ashes year after year.

The memorial favours shown can also be placed with service sheets at the funeral, so that those attending can plant them after the service, in memory of a loved one.

The packaging is made from recycled materials.
