☀️🍔 What a fantastic day at our Homefield Grange Summer BBQ! 🍔☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. It was wonderful to see our residents, families, friends and staff coming together to enjoy delicious food, great music, lots of laughter and plenty of dancing! 💃🎶

Days like these remind us what Homefield Grange is all about—creating meaningful moments, making memories and bringing our community together. ❤️

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we’re already looking forward to the next celebration! 🌞🌺

Today we say “see you later” to our amazing receptionist, Lovely, as she heads off on maternity leave! 💐👶

Who’s going to magically fix every Word document, rescue every Excel spreadsheet, answer a million phone calls, and still keep smiling? 😅

The office (and probably our printers) won’t know what to do without you!

Wishing you all the love, laughter, sleepless nights (sorry! 😂), and precious cuddles as you begin this exciting new chapter. Enjoy every moment—you’ve earned it!

Well… we tried hiding the exit, changing the locks, and pretending your notice had gone missing… but somehow you’re still leaving! 😂💙

Today we say goodbye to our wonderful Liz.

We’re genuinely sad to see you go, but so excited for everything that’s ahead of you. Thank you for all your hard work, endless kindness, and for always bringing a smile to everyone’s face. You’ve made such a difference to our residents, families, and team, and you’ll be missed more than you know.

We hope your new adventure brings you lots of happiness, success, and a lot less paperwork! 😅

Don’t be a stranger—we fully expect regular visits (and maybe the occasional shift if you’re feeling nostalgic! 😉).

Last week, we had the honour of celebrating Ron's 105th birthday! 🎂
A proud Navy veteran, Ron has lived an extraordinary life filled with service, resilience, and remarkable experiences. Reaching 105 years of age is a truly incredible achievement, and it was wonderful to come together to mark this special occasion.
The celebration was filled with smiles, laughter, and fond memories as residents, staff, family, and friends joined in wishing Ron a very happy birthday. We are grateful for the stories he shares and the inspiration he brings to our home.
A huge congratulations to Ron on this outstanding milestone, and thank you for your service. Here's to celebrating a life well lived and many cherished memories. 🎈🎉

From head-to-toe green, red, blue, and everything in between — we looked more like the Olympics than a care home shift change! 😂
Residents loved seeing everyone dressed up, although we’re still trying to figure out who started the unofficial competition for “most patriotic outfit” 👀🏆
A huge congratulations to Betty, who proudly represented Kenya and won our award for the most patriotic outfit! 🇰🇪👏 You definitely understood the assignment!
Thank you to all the staff who joined in and brought so much fun, laughter, and colour to the day. Proof that caring staff can also be fashion icons… well, some of us anyway! ❤️

To our amazing nurses—thank you for everything you do. You somehow manage to stay calm when call bells are going off, phones are ringing, and someone is asking for “just one more thing” every 30 seconds.

You run on caffeine, compassion, and pure determination. You can find a vein on the first try, comfort families like therapists, and still manage to smile after a 12-hour shift that felt like 36.

Let’s be honest—you deserve a medal, a nap, and probably a lifetime supply of biscuits in the staff room that no one steals.

We see you, we appreciate you, and we definitely couldn’t do it without you.

Happy Nurses Day—now please go sit down (for 5 minutes… if the care home allows it). ❤️
