Update.
As we slowly return to some form of normality, we'd like to reassure everyone that we are continuing to make all the necessary steps to keep our staff, our clients and the general public safe whilst we carry out the funerals entrusted to us.
There have been many changes over the last few months and this has led to several restrictions being enforced with regards to the services that we offer.
There are still restrictions in place but we are making every effort possible to ensure that our funerals are carried out to the same high standard.
Currently the maximum number of attendees allowed at a funeral is 15 people but this is dependent on the service location and may be slightly lower.
Churches still remain closed to funeral services at this time.
Our limousines will be available again as of Monday 15th June.
We have installed specialist hygiene screens to safely separate the driver from the passengers, reducing any potential risk.
The limousines will be fully sanitised after each use.
We are continuing to make the funeral arrangements over the telephone where possible but if we do need to meet with our clients in person, we follow the strict social distancing measures.
On a personal note, we would like to express our appreciation to all the families that we have looked after during this pandemic for their understanding and cooperation. Losing a loved one is hard enough, but doing so with so many restrictions in place has heightened the emotions involved.
As members of SAIF (the society of allied and independent funeral directors) we are able to offer a bereavement care line to anyone who has lost a loved one and may be in need of a bit of support.
'SAIF Care' can be contacted on 0800 917 7224 and their lines are open 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday.
Their friendly, supportive staff are available to offer information, advice or just a listening ear.
Stay safe
