We today welcomed student Emilia who is on work experience placement to assist with activities at Lime Court. Emilia is studying at Colchester Institute College.
Emilia has spent the morning meeting and getting to know everyone and she joined in playing cards.

💜 The Jolly Trolley 💜
What a wonderful and exciting day we’ve had at Lime Court as our residents explored our fantastic new Jolly Trolley ✨
The trolley took us on a lovely trip down memory lane, starting with a nostalgic Punch & Judy show at the seaside, which sparked plenty of wonderful conversations, stories and treasured memories shared. 🌊🎭
We then put our thinking caps on with “Name That TV Theme Tune & Advert” quiz, bringing back lots of familiar favourites and plenty of smiles 📺🎶
The fun continued with a cheerful singalong at the Piano Bar, followed by a fabulous karaoke session. 🎤🎹
One of the best things about our Jolly Trolley is that it can easily travel throughout the home, allowing residents to enjoy activities together in our lounges or from the comfort of their own rooms, meaning everyone can get involved if they wish.

It was eyes down for a full house this afternoon for a few games of bingo.
