So many conversations I wish I’d had, questions I wish I’d just asked.

So many moments where a trusted sounding board could have made all the difference.

Not someone to give me all the answers.

Not someone to tell me what treatments to offer or how to run my business.

The wellbeing policy suggested I should choose either getting my nails done or having ice cream, but after a brief discussion with management (also me) both requests were approved.

Sometimes being the boss has its perks! 🙌💅🏻🍧

I’ll am always happy to research products in more detail or contact the manufacturers directly to ensure my clients have everything they need to make informed and confident choices.

Today was a milestone day…

10 years ago today I was being taken down to theatre for the biggest operation of my life- to remove a tennis ball sized liver tumour.

6+ hours on the operating table, a 10 inch scar and 6 days admission including ITU... 60/40 chance of surviving the operation.

Thank you to my wonderful friends, family, colleagues & clients for their continued support- but also enormous thanks to the liver team at Addenbrookes for their first class care, kindness and compassion!

For them it was just a normal day at work, for us it was life changing 💖
