Stanley the cockapoo came to visit some of our residents! 🐶

Stanley is a GoodDOG, which means he is a qualified support dog with the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST)! He has been trained to support staff members as part of a wellbeing scheme at EEAST, helping those who have experienced traumatic incidents.

As you can tell, he definitely is a good boy, and offered support and companionship to our residents on his day off! 😊

“My mum has made so many friends that she can sit and chat with. Before, when she was living alone at home, she often felt lonely and bored. She really enjoys the musical entertainment they regularly provide, as well as the other interesting activities. I can relax knowing she is so well looked after, day and night. ☀️ Carrstone House Summer Fete - You're Invited! 🎉

On Saturday 11th July from 2-5pm, join us for an afternoon of fun, food and community spirit! There will be games, live music, face painting, and more! ☺️

🌷 Community is so important to us here at Carrstone House, and for that reason, our Fete this year will be in aid of Downham Dementia. This is an organisation which has such a positive impact on our community, so we are proud to support such an important cause!

🌸 Any donations towards our raffle and tombola stalls would be greatly appreciated!

‘65 Roses’ Coffee Afternoon ☕️🌹

Come along tomorrow afternoon for a cuppa and some cake, as we bring awareness to ‘65 Roses’, a charity organisation supporting those with Cystic Fibrosis!

We will be planting roses (and hopefully enjoying some sunshine!) as we talk all about it, and everyone is welcome to come along!

This will be a wonderful opportunity to find out more about cystic fibrosis, and how to support those with the condition - as well as enjoying a cup of coffee and a chat!
