Today was all about creating a warm, welcoming space and enjoying precious moments together. 💙
This morning we refreshed our activity boards with bright new colours, along with this week's activities and menu, helping everyone look forward to another week of fun and meaningful moments. We also added some lights and beautiful pictures to our activity centre, making it feel even more homely and inviting. ✨
This afternoon, our Gentlemen's Club spent quality time with their families over a game of Scrabble. It was wonderful to see everyone chatting, laughing, encouraging one another, and simply enjoying being together. Sometimes it's the simplest activities that create the most special memories.
Days like these remind us that it's not just about the games we play, but the friendships we nurture, the smiles we share, and the moments that make our house feel like home. ❤️

We’ve had another lovely day at the care home today. 💜

This morning, our residents enjoyed spending time together relaxing and watching some of their favourite TV programmes.

This afternoon, everyone got creative, colouring beautiful pictures that will soon brighten up our activity centre. It was wonderful to see so much concentration and creativity on display. 🎨🖍️

Roger enjoyed a peaceful afternoon in the quiet lounge with a good book, while Margaret was happy to lend a helping hand by wiping down the garden furniture, taking great pride in looking after our outdoor space. 🌼📚

It’s the little moments of creativity, kindness, and relaxation that make each day so special. Thank you to all our wonderful residents for making today another day full of smiles. ❤️

Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying some live music today! 🎶💙

There was plenty of singing along, smiling, tapping feet, and sharing special memories through the power of music. It's always lovely to see everyone come together and enjoy such happy moments.

This morning, we finished clearing the last of the items from the summer house, getting everything ready for it to become our new Activities Centre. We can't wait to start making lots of wonderful memories there! 🌞🏡

This afternoon, we were treated to a fantastic performance from Jules and the gang, who had everyone singing along and smiling. 🎶💖

I also had the pleasure of sharing a dance with this lovely lady, and it truly made my day. Moments like these remind us how special time spent together can be. ❤️💃

This morning, some of our residents enjoyed having their hair done, leaving everyone feeling refreshed and looking fabulous.

This afternoon, we had lots of fun playing a few games of dominoes, while Roger enjoyed some quality time relaxing in the garden with his wife, Ann. 🌸☀️

A big thank you to ann who kindly donated the colouring pencils. Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and our residents are looking forward to putting them to good use! 🖍️😊

🌞 A lovely day at the home! 🌞

This morning, I updated everyone's activity planners for the week ahead and refreshed our notice boards with this week's menu.

Later, Doreen and I enjoyed some time in the garden, where we picked some delicious fresh tomatoes straight from the plants. 🍅🌿

This afternoon, everyone had great fun playing a few games of bingo while enjoying a lovely cuppa and some biscuits. ☕🍪 It was wonderful to see so many smiles and hear plenty of laughter throughout the afternoon!

Another enjoyable day making happy memories together. ❤️
