Did you know you can now self refer to podiatry for any of the following:

Foot wound care for people with diabetes and/or peripheral vascular disease.

Routine podiatry treatment if you are considered moderate or high risk and have a medical condition that affects your feet such as diabetes.
Nail surgery to treat an ingrown toenail (patients must be 12 years old or over)

Diagnosis and treatment of painful musculoskeletal (MSK) foot conditions. These are conditions that can affect the joints, bones, and muscles in your foot. This service is available for all patients in the East Riding and under 13s only in Hull.

Important notice for our dispensing patients - letter circulating in our area

A number of patients have contacted us about a letter currently being delivered locally by York Delivery Pharmacy, offering free NHS prescription deliveries. We want to clear up any confusion.

❌This letter is NOT from The Park Surgery
❌ This letter is NOT from the NHS
❌ It does NOT mean that The Park Surgery dispensary is closing

York Delivery Pharmacy is a distance-selling pharmacy based in York. If you fill in and post back the enclosed form, this will switch your prescription nomination away from OUR PRACTICE to them.

This is entirely your choice to make, but it does mean:
📍 Your prescriptions will no longer come to us automatically
📍 You won't be able to collect ANY of your medication from our dispensary at The Park Surgery or from the Nafferton branch surgery unless you switch your nomination back.

If you've already sent the form back and want to remain with us, or if you have any questions at all about this letter, please contact us - we are very happy to help.

It is currently too hot for us to safely store medication in it.

Until the heat wave is over those of you who use this will need to collect your medication from dispensary.

Looking at the weather it should all be back to normal on Monday.
