Some of our residents enjoyed experiencing the partial eclipse yesterday evening. To ensure everyone could view it safely, we created a special pinhole viewing projector, allowing residents to observe this fascinating celestial event together.

🌞🍸 Our residents enjoyed a splendid afternoon of gin and canapés, filled with laughter, great company, and plenty of smiles.
A huge thank you to Pamela, who very kindly donated the gin from the fete raffle hamper she won. Your generosity helped make the afternoon extra special and was greatly appreciated by everyone. 💙

A huge congratulations to Mel, our wonderful Care Assistant, who has been named Rashwood Care Home’s Employee of the Month for July! 🏆💐

Mel has been recognised for consistently showing such genuine care and compassion towards our residents. Her kindness doesn’t stop when their shift ends — Mel continues to think about our residents and check on their welfare, even when she is not working.

A group of seven enjoyed a wonderful morning at Webb's Garden Centre today. We had great fun browsing, picking up a few treats, and then relaxing together over coffee and conversation. 😊

🌿✨ This afternoon, some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful Tai Chi session with the lovely Victoria.
The gentle movements provided a great opportunity to improve balance, flexibility, and overall wellbeing, while also offering a calm and relaxing experience for everyone involved. It was fantastic to see so many smiles and residents getting engaged in the session.

A huge thank you to the Kidderminster Ukulele Band for their wonderful performance at Rashwood this afternoon.
It was fantastic to see so many smiles and hear such great music. The enjoyment throughout the room was clear to see, and everyone appeared to have had a lovely time.

🌟 A Wonderful Morning with Debutots! 🌟

Our residents had a splendid time this morning welcoming the toddlers from Debutots. 💕 It was heartwarming to see the generations come together, sharing stories, laughter, and lots of smiles.
The visit brought so much joy to everyone involved, creating special moments and wonderful memories for both the residents and the children. Thank you to Debutots for another fantastic session. We can't wait to see you all again soon! 😊

Happy Yorkshire Day from all of us at Rashwood! 🏵️
Today we celebrated all things Yorkshire with a wonderful day of discussion, music, tea, bitter, quizzes, and fascinating Yorkshire facts. Residents enjoyed sharing memories and testing their knowledge of God's Own County, with plenty of laughter along the way.
Our highlight was making traditional Fat Rascals, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed!
A fantastic day celebrating Yorkshire heritage, community spirit, and good company.
