Help Shape Dudley's Su***de Prevention Strategy 2026-2030

Dudley Council is asking for feedback about the new Su***de Prevention Strategy 2026–2030. The strategy sets out our vision, priorities and actions to help prevent su***de, and provide compassionate support to those affected by su***de across Dudley Borough. We would like to hear from residents, people with lived experience, carers, community organisations, employers and professionals. Please read the draft strategy and share your views through our short survey.

Read the Strategy and complete the survey at https://healthydudley.co.uk/dudley-su***de-prevention-strategy-2026-2030/

The survey will close 24 August 2026 at midnight. If you have any queries on the su***de prevention strategy consultation, please contact us at: [email protected]

How do you float? 🌊
If you fall into deep water, your instinct may be to panic — but that can be dangerous. Instead, remember the RNLI’s Float to Live advice:

✅ Tilt your head back with your ears submerged to keep your airway clear
✅ Relax and control your breathing to overcome cold shock
✅ Gently move your hands and legs to help you stay afloat
✅ Don’t worry if your legs sink - everyone floats differently

Stay calm, stay afloat, and give yourself the best chance to stay safe.
