A huge thank you to Sedgley Community Church for their incredibly kind donation of baby clothes and toiletries to our Children's Ward 💛

We were delighted to welcome Dale, firefighter at Brierley Hill fire station, Louis, ambulance fleet coordinator and Jordan, accounting supervisor at Enterprise Flex-E-Rent to the hospital to celebrate their amazing fundraising achievement of an incredible £6,312 🎉🚒

Their fundraising will be split equally between the C4 Georgina Unit and Baby Bereavement Appeal, supporting services that are particularly close to their hearts. Their amazing efforts will help fund a PICC line service for patients on the Georgina Unit, as well as important items for the Baby Bereavement Unit.

We’re so grateful for their determination and support, thank you for helping us make every day better for patients and families across the Trust 💚

For a child, hospital can be a scary place. We want to change that.

This year, our Corporate Glitter Ball is supporting our Children’s Appeal, helping us create brighter, less frightening experiences for young patients and their families.

We're fundraising for an MRI Interactive Rocket Scanner, designed to help children understand what an MRI scan feels like before they have one themselves. Instead of facing something unfamiliar and frightening, children can climb aboard their very own rocket adventure 🚀✨

Making a difference, one break at a time 💙

Thanks to a £121,000 grant from NHS Charities Together, staff at Russells Hall Hospital have calm, restorative spaces created especially for them. Our staff wellbeing rooms are being well used, providing a calm, comfortable space for colleagues to take a moment and recharge during long working days.

It's encouraging to see these spaces making a real impact, supporting our teams when they need it most. Investing in staff wellbeing is about more than creating a room, it's about creating an environment where people feel valued and supported.
