🌍 Do we have the best job in the world?

From that first reassurance scan at 6 weeks — walking through the door filled with apprehension, anxiously waiting to see that tiny flutter of a heartbeat…

To helping you celebrate finding out your baby’s gender, and seeing just how much it means when those lights turn pink or blue. 💗💙

To showing the new grandparents their grandbaby smiling, yawning or sticking out their tongue in 4D.

And then we get the best bit…

Meeting them in real life. 🥹

Coming full circle and knowing that we’ve made enough of an impression on you that, amongst the beautiful chaos of life with a newborn, you take the time to come back and see us.

So no, this isn’t the best job in the world.

Because this is no longer a job like I had in the NHS..this is something much much more…

This is what we want healthcare to feel like.

This is being part of our community.

This is being part of one of the most important times of your lives.

Although Sophie has only been part of the Baby Bumps family since Christmas, the impact she’s had on the clinic in such a short space of time has been huge 💕

This week we say goodbye as she heads off for her next adventure in Australia 🇦🇺✈️

From day one, Sophie fit into the team perfectly. Kind, caring, hardworking and always smiling — she quickly became someone both the staff and our lovely patients absolutely adored. We’ve had so many lovely comments about her over the past few months, and she’s played a massive part in helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere we’re so proud of at Baby Bumps.

We’re genuinely going to miss her around the clinic, but we’re also incredibly excited for everything ahead of her.

Good luck Soph — thank you for everything. Australia is lucky to have you 💗
