Patient Experience Manager Vacancy

We are looking to recruit into a new role as a Patient Experience Manager, to Lead and develop the reception team to deliver a professional, compassionate and efficient patient friendly service, while supporting the Reception Team Leader in managing day-to-day operations. Responsible for handling patient complaints and concerns, driving service improvements, and contributing to quality, governance and patient experience initiatives across the practice.

The successful candidate must be experienced in working in a fast pace customer service environment whilst having a professional and empathetic approach to patient care.

Salary: Dependent on experience

Temporary Closure of Little Eaton Surgery

Due to an unexpectedly high level of staff sickness within our Reception Team, alongside pre-booked annual leave during the school holiday period, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Little Eaton Surgery from Monday 27th July to Friday 31st July 2026.

This decision has not been taken lightly. Our priority is to ensure we can continue to provide a safe and effective service for all our patients across the practice.

During this time:
• Patients with pre-booked appointments at Little Eaton will be contacted if their appointment is affected.
• Our Duffield Surgery will remain open as normal.
• You can continue to contact us by telephone, online or via the NHS App as usual.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while we manage these temporary staffing pressures.

🌟 We're incredibly proud of our very own Amy Armiger, Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Appletree Medical Practice. 🌟

Amy has worked alongside colleagues from Belper Primary Care Network and ARCH PCN to help develop a new series of accessible videos designed to support people with learning disabilities to better understand cancer awareness and screening.

The videos cover a range of important topics including bowel, breast, cervical, testicular and ovarian cancers, as well as general cancer screening information and a powerful personal story. They have been co-designed with people with lived experience to ensure the information is clear, practical and easy to understand.

People with learning disabilities can face additional barriers in accessing health information and screening services. Resources such as these play an important role in reducing health inequalities, encouraging conversations and supporting earlier access to care.

A huge well done to Amy and everyone involved in this fantastic piece of collaborative work. 👏💙

We are looking to recruit two part-time Practice Nurses to provide high quality, professional care to our patients.
