Thank you to Miss Grant from Langholm Primary School for asking Alison our Participation Lead to be apart of their Health Week yesterday. Alison really enjoyed meeting all of the boys, girls and teachers.

All of the children participated within the different activities and listened very well and they created wonderful art work; themed around our feelings and this years Children's Mental Health Week Theme 'This is Our Place'. One of the children showed me their worry doll which they had made in their class the previous day 🤩

📢We want to hear from Children & Young People who are currently attending CAMHS appointments.

👀Have a look out for posters in the waiting areas and in appointment rooms.

The staff member who you see will give you the option to either:

💌 Fill in a short postcard
💻Complete a paper or online questionnaire
🗣️Or you can speak with your CAMHS worker.

This week is Mental Health Foundation Mental Health Awareness Week (11th-17th May) This years theme is 'Take Action' For Yourself - For Someone Else - For All Of Us!! Thank you to St Joseph's College Dumfries for inviting Alison, our Participation Lead to come and speak with S1, S2 & S3 School Assemblies this week. 🙂
