This lovely gentleman came to us with a large filiform wart on his cheek ✨

Before visiting us, he sought medical advice and his GP confirmed that it was nothing to be concerned about. As the removal was considered cosmetic, treatment was not available through his GP. That is where we were happy to help.

Filiform warts are long, narrow growths with finger-like or thread-like projections. They most commonly appear on the face, particularly around the eyes, nose and mouth, as well as on the neck. We treated the wart using Sterex advanced electrolysis. An ultra-fine probe and controlled diathermy heat were used to carefully target the wart.

Following treatment, a small protective scab formed while the skin healed and regenerated. The third photograph was taken after our client accidentally caught the healing scab with his towel. We invited him back into the clinic so we could check the area and make sure everything was healing as expected.

These photographs show the area before treatment, immediately after treatment, during the healing process and five weeks after the initial treatment.

Our client was delighted with how quick the treatment was, and the finished result speaks for itself. Healing times and the number of treatments required can vary from person to person. Individual results may vary. A medical assessment may be recommended before cosmetic treatment 🙌🏻

We have some availability this week to help you understand your skin even better ✨

If you’re investing hundreds, or even thousands, in skincare and treatments, wouldn’t you like to see how your skin is responding?

Whether you’re completely new to Eventis or you’re due your next re-scan, we have some complimentary appointments coming up with Louise. Eventis is an exciting addition to the personalised service we already offer. By combining advanced skin imaging and real skin data with our expertise, it gives us another way to understand your skin, monitor changes and support the recommendations we make for you.

If it’s your first time, allow around 50 minutes for your full consultation and skin analysis. If you’ve already had your first Eventis scan, your re-scan takes just 30 minutes, allowing us to compare your results and see how your skin has changed over time.

We’re encouraging all of our clients to move over to Eventis so we can build a clearer picture of your skin journey and continue to tailor your skincare, treatments and products as your skin changes.
