Dunbar Medical Centre will be closed on Monday 14th of September.

We will re-open on Tuesday 15th of September, normal hours 0800-1800.

Please ensure you have ordered your prescriptions in plenty of time, these can take up to 4 working days to process and be ready for collection at the pharmacy. Ordering in advance helps us make sure everything is ready for you and avoids any last minute rush.

If you need urgent care while we are closed please contact 111.

In a life-threatening emergency please call 999.

Getting ready to start college / university?

The MenB vaccine is offered to some older teens and new students under 25 at higher risk. If eligible, get vaccinated before your semester starts.

Remember, if you’re eligible for the vaccine you can self-consent.

After 20 amazing years, the time has come for us to say goodbye (but not without Prosecco)to our wonderful Elaine as she heads off to her next adventure!

For two decades, Elaine has been the friendly face at reception, the calm voice on the phone, and the master of multitasking.

Her kindness, patience, humour, and dedication have meant so much to both our team and our patients over the years, and the practice won’t be the same without her.

Elaine, thank you for everything you’ve done, for everything you’ve shared, and for being such a huge part of our Whitesands family for the last 20 years, a colleague, and a lovely friend ❤️
