After our first holiday abroad in two years, I’m feeling refreshed, recharged and ready for a busy week in clinic! 🤍

Sunny holidays always make me particularly conscious of my own skin. I have a history of melasma and I’m very prone to pigmentation - something I know I’ll always need to manage, not something that simply goes away.

I’m religious with my medical-grade skincare, especially my vitamin C serum, and incredibly careful with SPF. Even then, picking up some pigmentation after time in the sun can be inevitable.

This holiday felt a little different, because for once I wasn’t quite so worried about what I might come home with… 👀✨

Something very exciting has arrived at the clinic. We’ve invested in a brand-new advanced laser & IPL platform, opening up a whole new range of treatments in-clinic:

Radiesse is fast becoming one of our most popular treatments. Collagen stimulation is a really hot topic at the moment, and for good reason.

Collagen production naturally starts to slow as we age, and often the first changes aren’t dramatic, they’re subtle.

Skin feels a little less firm. Fine lines become more noticeable. The jawline isn’t quite as defined. Or the skin around the neck starts to look thinner or more crepey.

From around our mid-20s, we start to lose approximately 1% of our collagen each year. This becomes particularly relevant as we enter perimenopause and menopause, when hormonal changes can accelerate collagen loss and contribute to changes in skin firmness, thickness and elasticity.

This is where collagen-stimulating treatments can really come into their own.

Depending on your skin and your concerns, we can use treatments such as radiofrequency microneedling, HIFU, injectable collagen stimulators or regenerative treatments to encourage your skin to produce more of its own collagen.

By stimulating collagen now, we can help improve firmness, texture and overall skin quality, while building collagen that we otherwise wouldn’t have had as that natural decline continues.

It’s something we hear frequently in clinic, particularly around perimenopause and menopause, when collagen loss can accelerate.

We naturally lose around 1% of our collagen each year, which is why collagen banking can be so valuable.

Jumping on this trend because, honestly, I think the “kinda chic” trend is kinda chic ✨

Which one if your fave? I’m struggling to choose between 2,5,7,8 &10.😂🥹🫶🏼 No 8 is 👀👀. Life is busy, messy and rarely perfectly balanced, but I feel incredibly fortunate to be building a business I’m passionate about while raising our two little girls.

There is plenty of hard work behind the scenes, but none of it would be possible without Lewis and our grandparents. Between family life, the clinic, running and continually learning for my patients, the juggle is very real, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I hope that one day the girls will look back and feel proud of what we created while they were growing up.

We wanted to let you know about a small update to our treatment fees. From 1st September, some treatment prices at Rejuvenation by Dr Morag will be changing.

As many of you know, I’m committed to continually investing in the clinic to ensure we can offer the safest, most effective and most up-to-date treatments available.

Over the past year, this has included introducing new regenerative treatments, undertaking advanced training, and continuing to invest in premium products and equipment to deliver the highest standard of care.

To allow us to continue providing this level of service, some treatment fees will be increasing from 1st September.

The updated treatment fees will apply to all appointments from 1st September. Treatments carried out on or after 1st September will be charged at the new prices.

For many people, the answer is yes.

One of the most common concerns I see is a dorsal hump - the bump on the bridge of the nose. It’s often something that has bothered patients for years and can have a huge impact on their confidence.

It sounds completely counterintuitive, but by carefully placing tiny amounts of filler above and below the hump, we can create a smoother, straighter profile. Rather than making the nose look bigger, it often creates the illusion of a smaller, more balanced nose.

In this lovely patient’s case, we also subtly lifted the drooping nasal tip, helping to improve the overall harmony of her profile while maintaining a completely natural result.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is one of my favourite treatments because the changes are often subtle, yet the difference in how someone feels about themselves can be enormous.

As always, this treatment isn’t suitable for everyone. A thorough face-to-face assessment is essential, and patient safety will always come first. If I don’t feel you’re a suitable candidate, I’ll always be honest and recommend the safest option for you.

One of the questions I’m asked most often is…

“Can you just add a little more filler?”

💜 These lips had previously been treated by another practitioner. Rather than adding more filler, I recommended dissolving first.

Why?

✨ Existing filler can alter the natural shape of the lips.
✨ It can make it difficult to achieve a soft, balanced result.
✨ Starting with a fresh canvas often gives us the best opportunity to create beautiful, natural-looking lips.

After dissolving, we allowed the lips to settle before carefully refilling them with a bespoke treatment plan.

One thing I’ll always promise my patients is honesty. If I genuinely believe dissolving first will give you a better long-term result, that’s exactly what I’ll recommend.

Sometimes taking one step back really does allow us to move two steps forward. 💜
