Dr GEORGE GADALLA

It is with great sadness the family announce that George Gadalla, (former dentist, Dundee) passed away peacefully in Ninewells Hospital on Wednesday, 8th July 2026. A loving and dearly loved husband of Yvonne, he was also a dearly loved dad, loving father in law, and a devoted and much loved grandad, and a good friend to many. George will be very sadly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The funeral service will take place at St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church, Links Street, Kirkcaldy, on Saturday, 18th July at 9.30am, to which all friends are warmly invited. Interment thereafter, in Birkhill Cemetery, Coupar Angus Road, Dundee at 11.00am.

ANNE STIBBLES MELVILLE

It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Stibbles Melville (nee Brown). Anne died peacefully in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, on Monday, 8th June 2026, aged 89 years. Born on 7th February 1937, in Dundee, the oldest of six children, she lived a life full of love and dedication to her family.

A dearly beloved wife of the late James Garthley Melville, and a cherished mum of Ian, Irene, Albert and Bryanne, and a devoted and much loved grandmother and great grandmother. Anne will be very sadly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held at Dundee Crematorium on Wednesday, 24th June at 12.30pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Dress code for the day is bright and colourful attire, as per Anne’s request. No flowers please, but donations in lieu, if so desired, may be made at the crematorium in aid of The Yard, Dundee, to help support adventure play for disabled children, young people and their families, a charity very close to Anne’s heart.

MARTIN De PORRES OGILVIE

It is with great sadness the family announce that Martin De Porres Ogilvie, passed away on Sunday, 4th January 2026. Martin was a dearly loved dad of Carrie and Martin, father in law to Neil, brother of John, Mary, Ronald and Michael, a much loved grandad, uncle and great friend to many. Martin will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service to celebrate Martins life will take place at The Millenium Hall, Birkhill, Dundee, on Wednesday, 21st January 2026, at 12.15pm, to which all family and friends are warmly invited. Interment thereafter in Birkhill Cemetery, Dundee, at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please.
