*Nazma’s Story - Age 4*
*It was 25th November 2025* when I first met Nazma. She was just 4 years old, with big curious eyes and a quiet voice. But behind that sweetness, her parents were very worried.
Nazma had been diagnosed with *nephrotic syndrome*. That means her kidneys were leaking protein into her urine instead of keeping it in the blood where it belongs. Because of this, she had swelling, tiredness, and her lab reports were not good.
At the time of her visit, Nazma was *already on steroid medication* prescribed by her pediatrician. Her parents wanted to also explore homeopathic support alongside her regular treatment.
*How I approached her case*
I gave her a full appointment and took my time.
First, I listened to her parents. I asked about when the symptoms started, what made her better or worse, her sleep, appetite, mood, and everything about her daily routine.
Then I checked her signs and symptoms carefully and wrote down a detailed case history.
After that, I opened my *Materia Medica* and studied the remedies that matched Nazma’s picture. Based on her symptoms and overall constitution, I *prescribed a homeopathic medication* to support her while she continued her conventional treatment.
*The follow-up*
Weeks went by. Nazma’s parents kept me updated. They continued her doctor’s steroid plan and gave her the homeopathic medicine as advised.
I was very happy when, during follow-up, her repeat urine tests showed *no more protein leaking*. The swelling reduced. She became more active, playful, and started eating better. Seeing a 4-year-old get her energy back is the best feeling for any practitioner.
For me, this case was a reminder of why I do this work. When conventional care and careful homeopathic case-taking come together, and parents follow through, children can feel much better.
