We still have some spaces left on the upcoming Makaton Workshop dates in Angus. These workshops are for parents/carers and professionals of children and young people who would benefit from Makaton to support their communication. These workshops are for participants who live or work in Tayside.

Each level is split into two half day workshops. To complete each level, you must attend both dates within the same week.

"Congratulations to Dr Danielle Feeney, Advanced Practitioner Speech and Language Therapist with the Cleft Lip and Palate Service, on completing her Professional Doctorate in Health Sciences🎓
Danielle's doctoral research explored the experiences of children and young people attending multidisciplinary cleft lip and palate clinics in Scotland. The study focused on understanding how children and young people experience healthcare services and how their perspectives can inform more person-centred care and support the ongoing development of cleft services.
This work highlights the importance of listening to children and young people within healthcare and provides a foundation for future service development and research within cleft care 🗣👂
