The countdown is well and truly on, and we’re so excited to take on what will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.

In just six months, we’ll be setting off to row the Atlantic Ocean — pushing our limits, embracing every challenge, and making memories that will last forever.

Come and join us for an inspiring talk by Elaine Hopley - world-record holding solo transatlantic rower 🌏🏅

Saturday 18th July
Start 7pm
Marine Hotel, North Berwick

Elaine became the fastest woman to cross the Atlantic solo in 2017, completing the crossing in 59 days, 19 hours and 14 minutes!

We can't wait to hear all about her adventures (and hopefully get some useful tips!) before tackling the row ourselves 🚣‍♀️

The evening will also include an opportunity to meet our boat, Crean, as well as a Q&A session with our team!

A huge thank you to Graham Fire Protection for generously donating two brand new fire extinguishers to replace our old ones, which had definitely seen better days 🔥🧯

We are incredibly grateful for all the support we’ve received so far and genuinely couldn’t do this without the kindness and generosity of our amazing supporters.

On Saturday the 9th of May, Belfield Hall hosted our Porty ceilidh fundraiser and it was the perfect night of happy chaos and the kind of community spirit that's pushing our Atlantic campaign forward 📈

The Gullane Ceilidh Band were on fine form, calling the dances and keeping the floor packed from start to finish.

We managed to raise over 1000£ between ticket sales and the raffle so thank you to everyone who came along and for our wonderful local businesses who donated such generous prizes 🎁

What a night in Dundee🕺🏼💙🌊

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday at The Liar Bar in the Student Union for our first ceilidh night in support of Saltire Tides!!

With the incredible Dundee Trad Soc Ceilidh Band providing the tunes - the energy and community spirit in the room was absolutely amazing. From first-timers (as young as 3..) to seasoned pros, it was so special to see everyone coming together to dance, laugh, and support our Atlantic campaign. We can’t wait for the next one in Portobello, Edinburgh 9th of May - tickets available on our website!

Couldn’t have asked for a better first weekend in what will soon be our home — perfect weather, unforgettable moments, and the most incredible support from our fellow ocean rowers. We’re so grateful 💙
