Disgusting 😡😡
⚠️Harassment will never be tolerated.⚠️
I am absolutely disgusted that I am having to write this.
Recently, one of our therapists was sexually harassed while carrying out a professional massage treatment within our salon.
A client attempted to move her hands and made sexual requests towards her while she was simply doing her job.
Let that sink in for a moment.
A woman came to work to help someone feel better, to provide a professional treatment, and instead was left with shaking hands, feeling uncomfortable, distressed, and questioning whether she feels safe working alone.
No woman should have to experience that.
No therapist should have to experience that.
No person should ever be made to feel unsafe in their workplace.
Massage therapy is a professional service. It is not an invitation. It is not entertainment. It is not something to be sexualised.
The fact that in 2026 women are still having to deal with this behaviour is honestly beyond disappointing.
As a business owner, this has made me incredibly angry. My team, my renters, and every person who works within DS BEAUTY deserves to feel safe, respected, and protected at all times.
I am extremely proud of our therapist for immediately stopping the treatment and showing this individual the door. She handled the situation with far more professionalism and dignity than was shown to her.
To the overwhelming majority of our clients – thank you. Thank you for treating our team with kindness and respect.
But to the small number of people who think this behaviour is acceptable:
It isn't.
It never will be.
And it has absolutely no place in our salon.
Respect is expected.
Boundaries are non-negotiable.
Harassment will never be tolerated.
Help us reach the right people — please share this post.
Edit : Before reading further, we would just like to mention that the therapist involved is self-employed and rents a space within our salon.
We understand that people may have different views on how situations like this should be handled. Any decisions regarding what happens next are entirely hers to make, and we will continue to support her in whatever she feels is right.
This post is simply to raise awareness and highlight that no therapist, woman, or person should ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe while carrying out their job.
