Saturday 19 September 2026 Workshop
The Work Undone, The Love Yet to be Given
Venue: Dunfermline Wholeness Centre
Address :Music Hall Lane, Dunfermline KY12 7LW

Having loved enough and lost enough,
I’m no longer searching
just opening,
no longer trying to make sense of pain
but trying to be a soft and sturdy home
in which real things can land.
— Mark Nepo

Somewhere along the way, most of us begin to wonder what still matters. What have I left unsaid? Left undone? Left unloved? These aren’t questions to solve — they’re questions to sit with, gently, in good company. This workshop offers a space to do just that.
Drawing on Stephen Levine’s book A Year to Live, we’ll explore two simple but powerful questions: what is the work left undone in this life, and what love is still waiting to be given? You don’t need a diagnosis, or a crisis, to ask them. None of us knows how long we have — and asking these questions now, while there is time, can help us live a little more fully, and one day, die a little more peacefully.
This isn’t a workshop of ideas alone. We’ll work through the body as much as the mind — with gentle meditation, movement, quiet writing, and small-group conversation — drawing on sixteen years of study across Tibetan Buddhism, Western psychotherapy, Qigong, yoga, and the neuroscience of the nervous system.
Facilitated by Bill Paterson (psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher) and Bonnie Gibson (yoga teacher).
