The Scarlet Pimpernel of the holistic world has returned… 😂🪷

My Lotus Room social media has been a wee bit neglected lately, mainly because Lotus Pilates has been keeping me on my toes! 🧘🏼‍♀️😂

So this is me popping my head back above the parapet to remind you all…

I’m still here! 👋🏼🤣

Still doing therapies.
Still looking after my lovely clients.
Still loving what I do.

I’m just trying to find that elusive thing called balance…

…and perhaps make a little time for self-care myself. 😂

This July, I’m introducing a deeply relaxing treatment designed to support your body’s natural lymphatic system while creating a true sense of calm from head to toe.

🌿 Your July Ritual Includes:

• Dry Body Brushing - to prepare the skin and stimulate the surface tissues.

• Full Body Manual Lymphatic Drainage (including the face) - using slow, rhythmic techniques to support healthy lymphatic flow.

• 20-minute Swedish Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage - to melt away tension and leave you feeling completely relaxed.

80 minutes | £70

(I say 80 minutes but we all know by now my timings are legendary….please put aside a little Longer!!)

Sometimes the greatest act of self-care is simply allowing yourself to slow down.

🌿 A new chapter for The Lotus Room… 🌿

I’m so excited to share that I’ve now qualified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).

When most people hear “lymphatic drainage,” they often think of the sculpting treatments seen all over social media. While those treatments have their own purpose, they’re quite different from the therapy I’ve trained in…….

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, specialised treatment that works with the body’s lymphatic system using light, precise movements. It’s designed to support the body’s natural lymphatic function and promote relaxation—because sometimes, gentle really is powerful.

If you’ve been part of my Pilates journey, you’ll know I’ve always believed that movement is medicine. Pilates encourages the muscle activity and breathing that help support healthy lymphatic flow, so adding MLD felt like the most natural step (despite qualifying in this therapy back in 2013 and never using it!!! 🫣). I decided to retrain, refresh and re qualify.

The Lotus Room has never been about chasing perfection or quick fixes. It’s about creating a calm space where you can slow down, reconnect with your body and support your wellbeing in a way that feels nurturing rather than overwhelming.

Whether you’re joining me on the mat or on the treatment couch, my goal is the same: to help you move well, feel well and understand your body a little better.

I can’t wait to welcome you into this next chapter. 🌿🤍

But here we are in May - and I took a few days off at the beginning to

A - deep clean our wardrobe 😐
B - blitz rooms that had been slightly neglected 🥴
C - celebrate Ambers 21st 🎉
D - watch all episode of The Madison 🥺 - I don’t do heartfelt TV…much prefer Syfy/hoodie as you don’t tend to cry at those! 🫣
