Permanent makeup is a process, not an immediate result ✨

Erin returned today for her complimentary touch-up appointment.

Her brows healed beautifully after the first session, but as expected, they softened during the healing process. Today, I layered a little more pigment to enhance the colour, add a little more density and perfect the overall result.

They will still soften slightly as they heal, leaving a beautifully soft, natural-looking finish.

Every set of brows heals differently, which is why the second appointment is an important part of the permanent makeup journey.

This is one of the questions I'm asked most often.

These photos show exactly what to expect:
• Before – very little natural brow hair.
• Immediately after – the colour looks darker and more defined, which is completely normal.
• Healed after the first procedure – the brows soften beautifully as the skin heals, leaving a much more natural result.

Blonde Powder Brows and a beautifully defined top liner, designed to enhance my client's features without overpowering them.

The brows create soft, natural-looking shape and definition, while the carefully selected blonde pigment keeps them looking beautifully balanced and suited to her colouring. The top liner adds depth to the eyes and makes the lashes appear fuller.

At the touch-up, we layered a little more colour, particularly through the centre of the lips, as this area can sometimes heal lighter than the rest. By building the colour in soft layers, we achieved the slightly stronger result my client was hoping for while still keeping the lips looking soft and natural.

The first session creates the foundation - building the shape, choosing the right colour and creating a soft base. Once healed, the touch-up allows us to refine the details, adjust the colour and make any small changes needed to achieve the finished result.

This is the healed result after her first session.

Her goal was a very subtle enhancement - not a bold lipstick look. Just a little more definition, a more even lip tone, and a healthy-looking flush of colour.

At her touch-up, we simply layered a little more of the same shade to build the colour slightly while keeping the result soft, fresh, and natural 💋
