☕ Coffee and Sunshine at Hilton Court Care Home ☕

Sometimes it's the simple moments that make the day.

Our colleagues took a few minutes to enjoy a well-earned coffee in the sunshine, making the most of the beautiful weather and a chance to catch up together.

Life at Hilton Court Care Home is all about people, and it's lovely to see colleagues taking time to connect, share a conversation, and enjoy a peaceful moment outdoors before getting back to their day.

Just coffee, sunshine, and good company... sometimes that's all you need 😊

What happens when a resident doesn’t just take part in an activity, but starts building towards a job?

That’s exactly what’s happening at Hilton Court - one of our Adult Specialist Homes 👏

Billy has become the first resident at Hilton Court to graduate from our Academy of Care Chef Excellence, developing practical kitchen skills, learning about IDDSI and even cooking beef stew for the whole home.

And he’s clear about what he wants next:

“I would like to keep going. I hope this will help me get into work.”

That one sentence says a lot.

At Hilton Court, recovery and independence are built around the individual. For Billy, that means time in the kitchen, learning from Head Chef Robert Scott and working towards paid employment. For Karen and Donna, it means volunteering at local community hub EATS. For Maureen, it means taking on meaningful housekeeping tasks within the home.

Different people. Different goals. Different routes forward.

That’s why the story matters.

The Academy and our Kitchen Centre of Excellence were created to develop people, build confidence and create opportunities. Seeing that extend beyond colleagues and open up new possibilities for residents is something we’re incredibly proud of. Hilton Court’s wider approach is built around supporting residents to develop confidence, practical skills and greater independence at a pace that works for them.

Sometimes progress is a qualification.
Sometimes it’s volunteering in your community.
Sometimes it’s cooking dinner for 32 people and thinking, “I could actually do this.”

That’s a pretty good place to start. 💚

✨ Jodie's Salon is the Place to Be at Hilton Court Care Home! ✨

There’s always a warm welcome and plenty of smiles at Jodie's Salon, and it continues to be a favourite spot for our residents!

From fresh new styles to a relaxing pamper session, residents always look forward to their visits and enjoy spending time in the salon feeling refreshed and looking their very best

A huge congratulations to Jodie, our deserving Employee of the Month! 🌟👏
Her dedication, kindness, and the wonderful service she provides make such a difference to the lives of our residents each and every day ❤️

✨🎭 A Fantastic Night Out for Residents at Hilton Court Care Home 🎭✨

One of our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful evening out at the Lady Boys of Bangkok show, and what a fantastic experience it was!

The night was filled with dazzling performances, incredible costumes, great music, and plenty of entertainment from start to finish 🎶✨

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and conversation as we enjoyed a memorable evening together, taking in the vibrant atmosphere and spectacular show 😊

Outings like these provide wonderful opportunities to try something different, enjoy new experiences, and create lasting memories with friends

A fantastic night out that was thoroughly enjoyed by all! ❤️

Nothing says summer quite like a visit from the ice cream van!

Our residents were delighted when the local ice cream van stopped by Hilton Court Care Home, bringing plenty of smiles and a selection of delicious treats to enjoy in the sunshine 🌞

There was lots of excitement as everyone chose their favourite flavours and took the opportunity to sit back, relax, and savour a classic summer treat 🍨

Simple moments like these bring so much joy and help create wonderful memories to share together.

🏛️✨ A Fascinating Visit to Perth Museum ✨🏛️

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Perth Museum to see the famous Stone of Destiny 😊

The outing was a fantastic opportunity to explore an important piece of Scottish history, sparking lots of interesting conversations and reminiscence along the way

Residents thoroughly enjoyed discovering the museum's exhibits, learning more about Scotland's rich heritage, and spending quality time together in such a beautiful setting

Days out like these are a wonderful way to connect with history, enjoy new experiences, and create lasting memories with friends ❤️
