Today I'm pulling cards from the Mirror Visions deck. Yesterday, while reading tarot at a festival, I found myself thinking, "I wish I'd brought those cards with me." Then I wondered where I'd even put them, convinced I'd somehow lost the deck.
Today, while spring cleaning my altar in the summer house, I found them. And I'm so glad I did.
I've pulled the Nine of Birds, the Hanged Man paired with Sacrifice, and Strength paired with the Orbs.
What I love about the Mirror Visions deck is that each card holds two images within it. When I first looked at the Nine of Birds, that's all I saw. I didn't immediately notice the Nine of Swords hidden within the image.
The birds speak of release, of letting something go. Yet hidden beneath is the fear that often accompanies change. Deep down, you know what needs to be released, but something is holding you back.
The Hanged Man and Sacrifice remind us that letting go isn't always a loss. Sometimes it's simply making room for what is meant for us. A shift in perspective can transform what feels like sacrifice into opportunity.
Strength and the Orbs then remind us that true strength comes not from holding on, but from trusting the process. From releasing what no longer serves us and having faith that what is meant for us will find its way in.
Perhaps finding this deck again was a reminder in itself: sometimes what we think we've lost isn't gone at all. It's simply waiting for us to see it differently ππ₯°
