We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at Glenview Care Home, Cabragh.

You will be responsible for ensuring outstanding clinical care is provided to our residents every day. Your strong clinical knowledge and established people management and leadership skills will ensure the highest standards are achieved in relationship-centred care, clinical care, and dementia care throughout the home.

The hours are 23.00/34.50 hours per week (Nights). We offer competitive pay and a range of company benefits.

Racheal’s Journey
Racheal moved to the UK from Nigeria in November 2021 to join Sanville Group of Care Homes as a pre-registration nurse. As she adapted to a new country and healthcare system, she prepared for her Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and passed on her first attempt, reflecting her strong clinical ability and commitment.
She then began working as a registered nurse at County Care Home, where she became known for her calm approach, and positive relationships with residents and their families. She supported person-centred care, promoted safe medication practices, and helped guide new colleagues during demanding shifts.
Alongside her full-time role, Racheal continued her studies to strengthen her knowledge and skills. She enrolled at Queen’s, focusing her postgraduate learning on the care of older people in care home settings.
On 29 June 2026, Racheal graduated from Queen’s with a Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing Care of the Older Person in Care Home Settings, awarded with Commendation. This achievement reflects both her academic success and her practical experience in delivering high-quality care.
Today, Racheal is a trusted nurse who works to ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Her journey from pre-registration nurse to postgraduate award recipient highlights her continued commitment to improving care for older people. We are immensely proud of Racheal and congratulate her on this achievement.

Proudly pictured at the SHSCT Chef Engagement Conference held at the Seagoe Hotel are Home Manager Danny Dougan and Head Chef Brendon Duignan from Hamilton Court Care Home, Head Chef Hilary Stinson from Glenview Nursing Home, and Head Chef Stephen Morrison from Sanville PNH

As part of the conference programme, Brendon contributed a pre-recorded video demonstration showing how to create a specially designed mousse cake, developed to be suitable for residents with swallowing difficulties. The recipe highlights how texture-modified meals can still be creative, appealing, and enjoyable for residents who require modified diets.
