Food is not a criminal offence👮‍♀️

Good food…bad food mentality will completely ruin your joy of eating! And who wants that…not I

And…it’s completely unnecessary to ban certain foods whilst trying to recomp your body.

Good news…it’s not the carbs that count, it’s the carbs YOU count🙌
Essential for energy to move and train well.
Just need to think carb smart🥳

Your walk is doing more than getting your steps in. 🌿

Research shows spending 20–30 minutes in nature can lower cortisol (your main stress hormone) by about 20%.

That matters because while cortisol isn’t bad — we actually need it to:

• wake up in the morning
• regulate energy and blood sugar
• respond to challenges
• control inflammation

…the problem is chronic stress.

When cortisol stays elevated for too long it’s linked with:

• poor sleep
• brain fog
• increased fat storage
• weakened immunity
• faster ageing

In other words:

Short bursts of cortisol = normal
Chronically high cortisol = not great for long-term health

And this is where something as simple as a walk in nature helps your nervous system switch out of fight-or-flight and back towards balance.

So no… it’s not “just a walk”.

It’s stress regulation.
It’s nervous system care.
It’s long-term health.

When will you realise it’s time to start strength training?

When the weight creeps on?
When your brain feels like it’s buffering… again?
When sleep disappears at 3:47am?
When every cold going does the rounds in your house… and you catch it too?
When your knees make noises you didn’t know knees could make?

Or…

When you realise it’s never too late to start looking after the body that has to carry you through the next 30–40 years.

Lifting weights isn’t just about muscles.

It helps your brain, mood, sleep, metabolism, immune system, bones, joints… and the simple things like getting off the floor without sounding like a haunted house.

You don’t need to be extreme.
You don’t need to live in the gym.

You just need to start.

Your future self will be very grateful. 💛

Oof. This one hits.

If you don’t make time for your health now…
you’ll be forced to make time for illness later.

Midlife isn’t the time to “hope for the best.”
It’s the time to get stronger 💛

I’ve opened a FREE WhatsApp group for women 35+ who are ready to do this properly.
