Is your HRT working?
What if you’re still not feeling like yourself?
For some women, HRT is an important part of the picture — but it may not be the whole picture.
Many of the women I work with are already taking HRT. They’ve made that choice, but they’re still struggling with things like low energy, brain fog, digestive symptoms, changes in weight, poor sleep or feeling overwhelmed.
And the reason isn’t that HRT doesn’t work. For many women, it can be an important and effective part of managing menopause symptoms.
But menopause is about more than hormones.
We can sometimes reduce menopause to a list of symptoms that need treating. But your health is more than a set of symptoms, and HRT is only one part of the picture.
The hormonal changes of midlife can affect many systems in the body. It’s a huge transition, which is why I believe we need to look at the whole person, not just one piece of the puzzle.
That’s where nutritional therapy can have a role.
Food, digestion, blood sugar regulation, sleep, stress, movement, muscle and your wider lifestyle all contribute to how you feel.
For me, this is what personalised nutrition is about.
Not choosing nutrition instead of HRT.
But looking at the whole picture.
Sometimes you just want to understand your own body better and work out where to begin.
And if you’re wondering whether the 7-Day Nourish Reset could be a good place to start, I’ve created it as a simple, food-first way to begin making some changes with support.
The Autumn Reset starts 21 September. Early Bird £39 until Monday 31 August.
