We celebrated International Coconut Day here at Ardnahein with a delicious homemade coconut loaf for supper! 🍰🥥

It was beautifully soft, full of coconut flavour and, absolutely delicious! 😋❤️

Our residents really enjoyed a little taste of the tropics — who knew coconuts could bring so many smiles? 🌴☀️

🧶Knit & Natter Afternoon! 🧶

This afternoon we enjoyed our Knit & Natter Club in the dining room, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! ❤️

It was an afternoon not only for sharing stories, laughter and memories, but also for sharing knowledge and skills. Some of us picked up knitting needles for the very first time, while others returned to knitting after a long time away. 🧶✨

Betty also had the chance to try out our new knitting machine, creating a lovely neck scarf – what a fantastic achievement! 🥰

A huge thank you to Ruth and Alice for patiently teaching some of us how to cast on and get started with our knitting. Your knowledge and kindness made it such a special afternoon. ❤️

It was wonderful to see everyone learning from one another, supporting each other and enjoying the simple pleasure of creating something together.

Knit, natter, learn and laugh – exactly what an afternoon together should be! 🧶💬❤️

🌟 Back to Patchwork Nursery! 🌟

This morning, Barbara and Jessie had a lovely time as we made our first trip back to Patchwork Nursery ELC for the new term. 🥰

It was wonderful to meet all the new children. Barbara and Jessie enjoyed getting involved with the children as we spent some time doing portraits, sharing smiles and plenty of lovely conversations. 🎨👧🧒

We then settled down together to enjoy a beautiful story all about Grannies.
